Defeat The D’aarg, Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype Launches On May 25

In Soldner-X 2, the D’aarg, a technologically superior race in 1080p resolution, is threatening mankind with seven stages and new bullet patterns. Pick a ship before you fly off for battle, Soldner-X 2 has two of them with different weapon systems. As you blast through bosses, you can unlock bonuses such as a challenge mode and a tribute to Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer.

 

Soldner X-2 has a dynamic score system, which the developers say makes the game accessible for newcomers, but challenging for shooter fans. Online leaderboards keep track of top scores and a replay system lets people share their best runs with the world.

 

Eastasiasoft announced the game will be available via a PlayStation Network download on May 25 in North America for $12.99. Europe gets Soldner-X 2 a day later for €12.99/ £9.99.

    Hated the first game, though I wanted to like it, it just wasn’t my type of shooter, mostly it was too slow feeling.
