Tecmo Koei Keen On Developing Games For Overseas Markets

Tecmo Koei Keen On Developing Games For Overseas MarketsLike many Japanese studios, Tecmo Koei is focusing on consumers outside of their home country. A forward looking statement in their financial report says the publisher plans on strengthening development of games for overseas markets.

Even before they merged, Tecmo and Koei had plans for Western domination. Koei opened Koei Canada, the studio behind Fatal Inertia and Prey the Stars. Tecmo purchased the rights to Fret Nice and revived Tecmo Bowl.

Warriors: Legends of Troy, a Dynasty Warriors-esque game set during the Trojan War, and the now multiplatform Quantum Theory seem like bigger steps towards their goal of emerging as the No.1 in the world entertainment content group.

Where’s DoA5? No Itagaki developing DoA means both 360 and PS3 fans can enjoy the next DoA.

Like I said before somewhere else, how about Dynasty Warriors: Dead or Alive? Besides, I want a Dynasty Warriors game that’s not a sausage party.

How about making a multiplatform DOA5? That’s bound to generate some sales.

How about publishing Nobunaga 13 in overseas markets? You made a version for the 360, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO.

Would like more servings of Prey the Stars.
