imageWhite Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness won’t end like the last game. Director Kusda Yoshiaki promises a conclusion for White Knight Chronicles fans.

“This time it will have a solid conclusion,” Yoshiaki tweeted. He also squashed a rumor about White Knight Chronicles being a trilogy. “Here and there, I’ve seen White Knight Chronicles being a trilogy. We haven’t said a single word officially about it being a trilogy.”

White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness picks up where White Knight Chronicles leaves off. Fans can see an ending to the story on July 8 when White Knight Chronicles 2 makes its debut in Japan.

  • Funny thing about WKC. Back at the dawn of the PS3, it was one of those games that made me want the console; seamless and beautiful. And now it’s…actually somewhat homely-looking. Go figure. I suppose I owe that to the gargantuan localization effort.

I ordered the first since the last discussion on it, incidentally. I just finished Resonance of Fate – which was AWESOME – so it seemed as good a time as any. I support thee, Level-5! Dark Cloud 3, Level-5! Go go go!

  • Oh, so that trilogy thing was a rumour. Good to know, maybe I’ll pick this one up if I finish the first one.

  • Eddie

I am thinking about picking up the first one. I am leaning more towards buying it rather than not buying it. Did anyone enjoy the first one?
