Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City Sailing Stateside screenshotAnother Nintendo DS game is traveling overseas and docking at Atlus USA. Yes, Etrian Odyssey III is confirmed for North America.

 

Nintendo Power has the news and the game’s localized title, Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City. No release info though, but we’re sure to learn more in the weeks leading up to E3.

    Haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere else – surprising as I thought EO had quite a large following for its genre.

    You know, regardless of how awful I was at the first Etrian Odyssey, I really like this series. The music was especially good imo.

    I know people are happy about this, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but I’m here sitting in my corner sad knowing that the original series will never be brought back over from Japan because it doesn’t have cute art and characters.

      I love both styles (awesome gameplay aside). It’s just too bad The Dark Spire didn’t take off so we could see similar games come our way, but it’s not the last of its kind, at least.
