First 3DTV PlayStation 3 Content Coming To PSN Next Week

Pain, the human catapulting game on PlayStation Network, is going stereoscopic 3D. Sony has a Pain pack that adds 3DTV support and two challenges created specifically for 3DTVs.

Alien Toss 3D is one of the new challenges in the Pain 3D pack and has players fling a stereotypical Martian. Ice Breaker 3D, the other 3D addition, lets players shoot crates at an ice castle. Sony Korea says this add-on will also make other modes in Pain 3DTV compatible, but didn’t specify which ones.

We’ll have to wait until June 3rd to find out. That’s when the Pain 3D pack goes live in Asia.

If the headline “First 3DTV PlayStation 3 Content Coming To PSN Next Week” is true, then what about Namco’s Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao from August of ’09? I thought that was 3-D?

    • Ah you’re right. I forgot about Invincible Tiger! Namco released that last year too. Hahaha.
