Inazuma Eleven Scores Arcade Game Thanks To Atlus

imageShin Megami Tensei makers Atlus and Level 5 are working together to bring the popular soccer series Inazuma Eleven to arcades.

The title in development is Inazuma Eleven Bakunetsu Soccer Battle and it’s collectable card game. Think Mushiking or Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road. Instead of cards, players get Inappu (a portmanteau of Inazuma Eleven and chippu?) chips when they drop 100 yen into the machine. The game reads the chips and shows the match on screen.

Inazuma Eleven Bakunetsu Soccer Battle will make its debut in Japan this summer.

OK How about bringing these games to the U.S. call me crazy but I think that sounds like a good idea

    • I imagine Level 5 of America will start cracking on that when they open in September.

I thought Atlus killed off their arcade division. Was that only their photoboths?

Cosign. Announce it for the US already. the 3rd one is almost here.

  • Since most of the Spanish-speaking communities in LA love futbol, I can see this selling. Heck, an evidence of this is SNK’s NeoGeo Cup series.
