K-on! After School Live Screens Go Live

By Spencer . June 4, 2010 . 12:56am

Following the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva formula, K-on! After School Live has 3D models in the background and floating notes to press. See?

K on! After School Live Screens Go Live K on! After School Live Screens Go Live K on! After School Live Screens Go Live K on! After School Live Screens Go Live

New for this music game is a multiplayer mode where up to five people can play music in an ad-hoc connection powered band. Each player takes the role of a different Tea Time member and plays their instrument.

“Cagayake! Girls” and “Don’t say ‘lazy’”, the opening and ending themes for the anime, are confirmed for the PSP game. Sega plans on releasing K-on! After School Live in stores this fall.

haha well, the graphics looks nice xD, i might even try this someday, but i would still prefer a beck’s game D:<

You could always get that Beck game for PS2, lol. I wouldn’t advise it though! It’s incredibly short and I found it to be a little glitchy.

Sometimes, it wouldn’t even register me hitting the note even though there was nothing wrong with my controller. Plus, they missed a LOT of great songs, so it definitely needed more songs! We should totally have a new Beck game though with more music and set up like this on the PSP!

Move over Guitar Hero and Rock Band, we got Beck!

*starts to sing, “Follow Me” as he walks off*

Oh, and I’d love to try this rhythm game. It looks interesting :3

I have that Beck game for PS2. I played it for a while but I can’t seem to unlock a bunch of songs. I got some pretty great scores on the available songs too.

Nice one. Gonna play this since I finished Hatsune Miku already =p

I’m baffled at how hard spelling “K-ON!” is for you. Baffled.

I am a fan of the show but not enough to lose my dignity over it lol The reactions I would get on the train :P

Let me guess they will have different costumes too :D The graphics on PSP games lately have been amazing.

Now if only Japanese visual novels started to follow this level of work instead of lazily relying on static 2D images

Looks extremely casual. Not that I was expecting it to be hardcore or anything.

  • Lion’s Paw

The gameplay looks a lot like one of the lesson types in the Idolmaster.
