Aksys Games Homepage Hacked [Update]

By Spencer . June 7, 2010 . 3:41pm

imageWhile trying to find out more information about Don’t Cross The Line, a new DSiWare game from Aksys, I noticed their homepage got hacked. Someone(s?) took over the video game publisher’s site and is redirecting it to a webhosting company.

Poor Aksys and they just finished that Deathsmiles site too.

So, I guess we won’t know the developer of Don’t Cross The Line until Aksys gets back online. What we know it’s a line drawing, box connecting game with 50 stages and it’s 200 DSiWare points ($2).

Update: Looks like the page is back up and we know who the developer of Don’t Cross The Line is. Thanks Akselziys and imperator_librarius.

  • That’s not good! I think it might be fixed now.

  • The page itself hasn’t actually been hacked. It’s an issue with our host’s nameservers, not the web server itself. Using Google’s public DNS, for instance, will allow you access the site. Depending on where you live, and what DNS servers you’re accessing, you might or might not make it to the site.

    • Ah that explains a lot. I guess I’m not in the OK zone yet. Thanks for the update :)

  • Hraesvelgr

    It’s back to normal now.

  • Actually the developer for Don’t Cross The Line is Jupiter :)

    • Ah! I thought so … it’s Kangeta Puzzle.

    • Bit.trip RUNNER is awesome and I preordered Deathsmiles.

  • Oh beli already appeared here xD, anyway here we talked as well about this in aksys’s forums http://www.aksysgames.com/forums/topic/656 there, beli explains a little what might had happened
