Capcom’s E3 2010 Line Up Minus Surprises

By Spencer . June 7, 2010 . 10:23am

imageWhat is Capcom bringing to E3 this year? Pretty much everything they announced at Captivate ‘10.

These titles are confirmed to be inside Capcom’s booth.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds (PS3, Xbox 360)
Ōkamiden (DS)
Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 (PSN, XBLA)
Sengoku BASARA: Samurai Heroes (PS3, Wii)
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (DS)
Dead Rising 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC)
Dead Rising 2: Case Zero (XBLA)
MotoGP 09/10 (PS3, Xbox 360)

Nothing new on the list, but Capcom says they still have surprises up their sleeves. There is that that Last Ranker trademark We’ll be checking out Capcom’s lineup and, perhaps, doing interviews for a few of these titles.

  • Okami :D <3, and interested in sengoku basara as well, i still wonder why it is coming to wii and ps3, but not 360 (not that i care, but im just curious :P).

    • Since Sengoku Basara is a Japanocentric series and the fact that Japan is allergic to the 360, Capcom preferred to sell the entire Sengoku Basara franchise to consoles its home market is fond of (PS3, Wii, for this generation alone).

I don’t say this often, but I kind of wish they went PS3-only with it. To me, it’s not really a good sign when the PS3 version’s preorder price is the same as the Wii version’s. Hopefully, it’s just because of low expectations…

        • The fact that the US PS3 owner base is similar to the 360’s (read: bunch of filthy campers) might have something to do with it.

          • crunc

I don’t know anything about the game, but samurai and Wii/PS3 only – perhaps this game is motion-plus/Move controlled?

  • What about Resident Evil portable? :/

    • DemonicX

Exactly! I guess we’ll have to wait two more years for new information. >_<

    • Nite

Yea that was one of their ‘mystery games’ of the last E3, yet all we got was a mention of it during the Sony conference and then we never heard from it again. Hope it won’t end up like Devil May Cry portable.

Speaking of PSP games, what ever happened to FFXIII Agito and The 3rd Birthday?

  • Code

Damnit, Capcom, that’s not how you surprise people! rar, where’s the fun in that!

  • CrimsonFlamesX

A new Breath of Fire, Capcom!? Oh you….sad face.

  • Case Zero being 360-exclusive really makes me wonder if I want to spend money on Dead Rising 2.

    • Code

Geez, good eye, I didn’t even catch that! That’s seems really slighted, to bring it out for the 360, but not PS3, especially since the game itself is set for both platforms T_T?

  • cowcow

MotoGP 09/10??? That games been out for months! And it seems worse than 08 version. Maybe because Capcom took over? There’s no hands on the handlebars in cockpit view totally retarded. SBK is the better game and it comes out new at $19.99!!

  • screwyouimnotgivingyoumyname

What about that new Wii (not on-rails) resident evil spinoff that there were rumors about briefly during Captivate? If the rumors were true, that should be quite a “surprise”…

  • screwyouimnotgivingyoumyname

What about that new, not-on-rails Wii spinoff w(e/ii) heard rumors about briefly during Captivate ’10, then nada? Did Capcom even release the full list of games shown?
That would be quite a good “surprise”… :)

  • pressstart

;_; no SSFIV and BCR2 for PC :( MvC3 for PC would be nice too >_>

  • So, Capcom, what about that new Vampire game? I’m pretty sure rehashing and reintroducing Morrigan, and any characters, in a crossover is getting old. Heck, I’ve been waiting for a new VS since junior high! And that’s almost a decade. I’m pretty sure Morrigan, and the faithful Vampire fans, are getting tired of this milking of the series.

And no, that compilation for the PSP does not count.

  • RAVENKam

I have my eyes on Sengoku BASARA (only because I’ve never played/bothered with the series and now seems as good a time as any) and Okamiden. MvC3 ought to be on my list of interests if only I didn’t find the graphic style so uninspiring (in its current form).

  • capristrider

Darkstalkers/Vampire Saviour it has to be! Capcom has to keep SSF4 co-developer Dimps busy and keep using Taito Type X² tech.

    Just a calculated wild guess!
