Enslaved: Odyssey To The West Set Free In October, Says E3 Trailer

Ninja Theory’s next action game takes place 150 years in the future with a female lead that looks strikingly like Nariko from Heavenly Sword. You don’t control Trip, though. You’re Monkey in Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, an appropriately named, staff wielding, disc surfing hero.

Enslaved is loosely inspired by the “Journey to the West” fable. Alex Garland, the scriptwriter of “28 Days Later”, took the story and added a machines to it.

As the trailer clearly says, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is scheduled for October. We’ll be checking Ninja Theory’s game out next week at E3.

Nice video. I loved Heavenly Sword and thought it was somewhat underrated being an early PS3 game. I like Ninja Theory’s take on Journey to the West and expect some really good action/puzzle (looks more fun than Majin). Even though the girl’s a redhead, I think she’s much much better looking and more attractive than Nariko, Nariko’s more like an Amazon.

Pretty cool game vid. Looks promising with quirky characters, in fact looks quite refreshing!
