Space Invaders: Infinity Gene Evolving To Consoles

By Spencer . June 8, 2010 . 9:37pm

imageSpace Invaders: Infinity Gene, Taito’s latest evolution of Space Invaders, started life as a Japan-only cell phone game. Then Taito brought it to the iPhone. Consoles are up next.

Famitsu confirmed what Australia’s Classification Board leaked, a console version of Space Invaders: Infinity Gene is in the cards. The game appears in the table of contents of this week’s issue as a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game. We’re guessing a bit here, but this is probably a downloadable game. Unless Taito give it a major overhaul, we can’t imagine a $4.99 being sold in stores.

Tried the demo for this game on my iPhone, lots of fun. Played the demo multiple times already, haha. Might need to pick it up on my 360 (if it’s a live game), else might just wait for the price to drop on the app store.

rar, hooray just as I’d have hoped! Seriously it’d have been such a waste if this was only on iphones. I mean no offense to iphone owners, but people with game consoles like to play games too >O>!

Yeah but good luck getting the PS3/Xbox 360 version for $4.99… you know it’s going to be $10-15.
