That music gets me every time.

      I love the 8-bit version. :D

  • RX79V

    I imported the Japanese version.
While music and art style are nice, the game is a bit disappointing for me.

I think the SaGa2 remake on DS (while not as pretty) is probably a more interesting game than this.

I was always very curious about the co-op part of this game but could never find good enough info on it. RX79V, if you have tried to co-op, would you be kind enough to elaborate it a bit?

      • RX79V

I did not spend too much time on co-op, but here is what I know.

Player joining the game will replace a member of the host’s current party. (Not sure if someone can join when there is only 1 member in party.)
The progress will be at the host’s progress.
Player joining the game will use his/her own equipment from his/her own game.

I am not sure about how dropped item is distributed and never tried equipping item from the host’s game.

The thing is player joining the game can move freely (within a map I think) regardless of the host.
I don’t think he/she can enter/exist a door. Only the host can do it.

NOTE!! Only the host will have random encounter.

This makes co-op extremely useful in mapping the dungeon.

I usually just leave it on for hours to earn some points for trading goods.

Why can’t they make co-op more like they made the new blue dragon co-op on ds. I don’t get playing co-op when its turn based but i guess it works.

I’m crazy excited for this game.
