Fist Of The North Star: Ken’s Rage And Warriors: Legends Of Troy Set For Fall

imageTecmo Koei announced their HD console heavy E3 lineup today and four games are on it. Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage, Warriors: Legends of Troy, and Quantum Theory are coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall. Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll is only for PlayStation 3 and it’s release date is TBA.

Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage takes the Dynasty Warriors formula (plus motorcycles) and mixes it with the ultraviolent manga. Expect lots of exploding bodies.

Warriors: Legends of Troy is another Dynasty Warriors style game set during the Trojan War. Players will be able to control legendary characters like Odysseus and Achilles online. That’s right, Koei Canada added online multiplayer to this game.

Quantum Theory, Tecmo Koei’s take on the third person shooter genre, and Trinity: Souls of Zill O’ll, an action RPG with three playable heroes, are the non-tactical action games they’re bringing to the show.

The lack of Nobu13 makes me sad.

    Ni-Oh, where’s that?

As much as I like FotNS, I can’t be excited about this.
The combat looks clunky, the moves look lame and inauthentic, and everyone looks like they’re covered in a thin greasy veneer.

And it’s Koei. Why do they have to get all of the good licenses?
Aren’t they satisfied with pretty much having an exclusive license to ancient Chinese history?

The game and its soundtrack is epic shut up
