Child of Eden Is Rez + Natal

The inital lineup of Kinect games made some scoff, but Child of Eden may convince you.

 

Q Entertainment and Ubisoft took the essence of Rez, visual style and all, and turned it into a Kinect game. We’re watching Mizuguchi-san fire bullets at sea like creatures by waving his hand.

 

“So this is my new game, Child of Eden“, Mizuguchi announced. “In association with Microsoft Kinect I am able to create a synthesia exeprience.” Synesthesia is a condition during which “stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.”

    XBox-only? I guess if this were to be PS3 also, it’d defeat the purpose of that Rez HD release on the PSN.

        Yeah I noticed at the end the subtle PS3 logo. rar, I’m interested but I hope it’s not motion control exclusive — even though I think motion controls might definitely add to the experience of this game, I just need more games to support the idea of buying into either 360/PS3′s motion controllers.

    I remember seeing an article on another site that mentioned this was going to be a 360/PS3 game. Here’s the article with a trailer for it, which has PS3 listed at the end…
