Ah, I’m excited! You better have fun for all of us.Edit: PE3 Footage made me so happy. The show has been a disappointment, but damn if that wasn’t the best trailer I’ve seen all year.

3rd Birthday footage made it at least somewhat worth watching. Do want.

I’m really not interested, but perhaps they will surprise me. At the very least, they should be able to outdo Microsoft’s conference… because that won’t take much. I don’t think they’ll be able to top Nintendo, though.

I’m watching the live feed too.. it feels like strung-together commercials so far : Makes me miss Kaz and his insane exaggerations. RIIIIIIIIIIIIDGE RACER

Well, it’s a bit better now, especially with Gabe showing up. But you’re right, it feels like a string of ads.
You also have to remember that E3 is also for the investors as well.

Their PSP lineup is great, though.

Yea, it got better the latter half (PSP stuff, 3rd Birthday, etc) and Twisted Metal was a cool surprise. I played the heck out of the first one on PSX.

I really want to fast-forward through some of Sony’s conference. :(

  • I love this as opposed to Twitter breaking down every two mintues.

It’s amazing seeing Twisted Metal again (Black era, no less). To see Dollface again, and hopefully Grimm… I bought a PS1 and PS2 along with a Twisted Metal game, no reason to break that tradition now.

Each camp will argue who had the best show, but personally Sony came out big to E3. Games, games and more games. That’s what I really like about Sony’s conference there were tons of games shown. Some of the Move titles look genuinely interesting and it seems that they are focused on a varied line up that has games for everyone. Huge plus for the exclusive EA stuff, Dead Space Extraction in HD with Move on the disc. The Sly Cooper Collection looks fantastic, the return of Twisted Metal is very exciting for me (loved Black on PS2). 3rd Birthday looks awesome and it looks like Sony will be continuing to bring more of PSP-3000’s Carnival Colors (Blue one yay!). Overall it was a great show. In my opinion its a tie (depending on your interests) between Sony and Nintendo. Microsoft lost this E3 for me big time.

I don’t know, I thought Nintendo was the only conference that was non-stop games. We all know Microsoft was terrible (ESPN, really?), but there was too much BSing in between the games, including Kevin Butler (which isn’t funny anymore), stuff that should’ve been rewritten (only console with built-in wifi/internal hdd, only platform to offer 3D) and the Coke partnership (why?).

The only thing I thought was good was the short PSP montage (footage of Ys, 3rd Birthday, etc.), but that was mostly just ignored. I will admit that they saved their conference from being as bad as Microsoft’s by announcing Twisted Metal, but I haven’t played a TM game I liked since the second one.
