K-On After School Live Goes On Tour In September

By Spencer . June 25, 2010 . 12:48am

Sega picked up the license to K-on and created another PSP music game. In K-On After School Live you can pick any of the five Tea Time band members to use. Have four friends that own the game? Then you jam together in an ad-hoc concert where each player controls a different character.

It’s almost like anime Rock Band Unplugged for Japan. K-On After School Live goes on sale on September 30. Tickets are 6,090 yen ($67).

Looks good for fans of the series but it doesn’t look very challenging from the videos. Unfair to base final judgement on that, i’ll wait till some youtube videos of expert mode crop up. Right now it doesn’t interest me, looks far too easy and i’m not a fan.

Well, promo videos always cater to the casual gamer…

Get DJMax if you’re concerned about difficulty :D

The animations of the character models don’t look very exciting right now and the faces look quite blank while they are playing. So, it looks a little boring right now.

I am excited for the game, but I hope the next trailer is better.

Sega has found a new niche, huh. Make random rhythm games and exploit fans! Yay!

Please, explain where you keep getting this spelling of ‘K-ON!’ from? In the mystical world you inhabit, do dashes become apostrophes?

I’m from a Utopian society where fervent video game fans talk civilly with one another and people politely point out coding errors when data is sent to the server.

So does the game revolve around playing the same insert song for most of the first season?
