CyberConnect2 Unveil Strelka Stories

By Spencer . July 8, 2010 . 5:48pm

imageCyberConnect2 is celebrating their 15th anniversary with another project. The developer behind .hack and the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series opened a teaser site with anthropomorphic dog artwork.

“I will surely go to space, surely,” the caption reads. Another picture mentions a dog-like character’s children traveling someday. All of the images have Strelka Stories on them. Strelka (thank you Google) was one of the Soviet Union space dogs that successfully came back to Earth.

No platform or release information has been announced for Strelka Stories.

  • To be honest I’d prefer a new .hack game to something about a dog astronaut…

  • Yeah, i’d prefer a new hack game, im not really fond to flurry characters

  • a game about monkey vs dog?

  • Code

I’d prefer a game about a dog astronaut then a new .hack game.

    PS3 or PSP plz!!!

  • MrRobbyM

.hack game for PS3 would be awesome after seeing what they could do with Naruto Ninja Storm 2.

    • I hope they do a 360 .hack actually! With some online functionality, still offline, but some social elements. Would be crazy. X3 I wish they’d announce that someday…

      • MrRobbyM

A possibility, but I only said PS3 since all the other .hack games are on Sony consoles.

      • they tried with .hack//fragment but that didn’t go so well. This generation does offer a second chance though.

  • hmm… while a new .hack game would be nice(Bandai, it’s on your side of titles…), this could invoke certain emotions like how Fragile did, although Strelka will invoke the more positive ones.

  • This seems like it could be interesting.

  • epy

Hope they bring us a new .hack game soon. I don’t want Link to be the final one.

  • holyPaladin

Like all people here, I want .hack game too :o

    But this seems interesting

  • Yeshua49

Looks interesting to me, at least it’s original.

Between this and Solarobo, I love them more and more.
