Bleach: Heat The Soul 7’s Roster Tops 80 Characters

imageSony Computer Entertainment Japan still has plenty of time to announce details about Bleach: Heat the Soul 7, but leaky retailer Game Star beat them to the punch.

Their product page notes Bleach: Heat the Soul 7 has 84 playable characters. The number includes Espada and Visoreds.

Perhaps, to broaden Bleach: Heat the Soul 7’s user base a bunch of beginner friendly features were added. Bleach: Heat the Soul 7 has a practice mode, tutorial mode, and easy difficulty setting.

Bleach: Heat the Soul 7 is set for September 2 in Japan.

You know what they can do to really broaden the audience? They can release it in other places like North America and Europe. You see I’ve heard that if you release a good game that isn’t named Naruto or DBZ you still might have some pretty decent sales.Oh but who am I kidding? It’s smart not to market anime-based games at all if they’re good and/or decent, and actually expand other series popularity through good merchandising with video games.

I’ll probably import it and download a 100% gamesave haha I already know what the story is so I just need the characters lol

man, the last bleach game i played had so many freaking characters, and worst part of everything, is that this made the difference between characters’d fighting styles less… variated

    I’ve been waiting for this.
Since this game is supposed to be released on September,it will have a lot of characters.

  • JustAnotherTraveler

The game has no complexity. Everyone not only plays the same, but has played the same since the first game. They could add 200 hundred characters and it would still be mediocre.

Wonder if they’re gonna keep evil Rukia from the 3rd movie. I hate both the anime and manga at this point but I keep watching because Ive watched for so damn long I might as well finish it.
The games have never been deep but always fun. Sad Versus Crusade never got localized. One of the best fighter on Wii imo.

Is that 84 plus the transformations or 84 standalone characters?

    I hope it’s the latter

    • karasuKumo

They don’t count transformations as character slots thankfully haha

Heat the soul 6 had 54 so this is going to be immense, I watch Bleach and didn’t know there was 84 characters lol

The reason why none of the Heat the Soul games (or any other Bleach games on Sony consoles) never get released outside of Japan is because Sony has the publishing rights to HTS. Sega of America owns the Bleach video game rights in their entirety, so unless Sony and Sega strike up a deal, we’ll never see them released outside of Japan.

That being said, the PSP is region free, so it’s not that hard to import.
