Future Gohan Shows Up In This Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 Trailer

By Spencer . July 27, 2010 . 3:05am

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 brought Future Gohan back for another battle and, yes, he can transform into a Super Saiyan. Namco Bandai’s Dragon Ball team also picked Pikkon for an HD makeover. The Otherworld Tournament fighter has his Hyper Tornado attack in the PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360 game.

Look for more Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 coverage this week when our interview with Ryo Mito, Producer, goes live. We picked a lot of questions from the comments including the one about Dragon Ball GT characters. We’ll get that answer out of the way now. Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 won’t have any characters from Dragon Ball GT, sorry.

No GT well it doesn’t matter its just another Dbz game.

  • holyPaladin

    Still using Teen Gohan :D

C’mon he’s the strongest in his era!

    • urbanscholar

Every DBZ game, he’s my go to guy. I will forever prove he’s superiority.

  • joesz

I just like it when frieza says”KOROSHITEYARUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!”

He sounds gay and effeminate in the english version and he sounds selfish and sadistic in the japanese version.

    • RupanIII

I remem back in the day when I first discovered subbed DBZ I was like whoa! Frieza is much more badass/villainous/menacing in the original

  • LORDMATRIX2004

Is Nail in this! If so hell yes!! IDK Y but I always cheered for him. I also noticed Janemba and Pikkon and even Turles. I love the different characters being put into this game. I just wish the gameplay was better.

Nail is the shirtless Namek in the video. He’s named in the Japanese text.

    Android 16 is my Jesus.

Will this game keep the original music from the series. I can never get into these games because of the ridiculous music they make for the fights.

    • cowcow

Japanese version likely. U.S. version, they are usually too cheap to pay for the music royalty fees

  • cowcow

If this were 1995 I’d be totally on this.

    Now…..not so much…

  • midgard229

tell me when its different than tenkaichi 3 because right now the ps2 game still plays the same and has more characters.

Is it just me or shouldn’t future gohan have an arm or was it a hand missing?

    • Jaxx-Leviathan

Yeah, he lost his left arm in the first fight between him and the androids that we witness. I’m pretty sure I remember him still being able to use Kamehameha with only one arm though, Future Gohan is pretty badass in my opinion. Anyway, the Future Gohan in this game is probably from before losing his arm in that fight. It would have been interesting if they’d chosen the one-armed version, seeing how that would alter his fighting style.

      • andref

Still a one-armed gohan would be cool to watch beating up on the other z fighters

  • http://twitter.com/sdmblack Sean Morewood

they should have an option to gave gohan with one arm. i mean, i watched him fight in all the games hes in, he fights like he has one arm, even his kamehamehas and his ultimate use it and it only! why not go for continuity and give him a reason to ignore one of his appendages?
