gowbPSP owners that dig ripping out eyes from cyclopes have another PSP game to look forward to. Sony Computer Entertainment America set November 2nd as the release date for God of War: Ghost of Sparta.

To entice pre-orders for the God of War prequel, SCEA put together what they consider to be the ultimate exclusive DLC pack. Reserve God of War: Ghost of Sparta to get a legionnaire skin, PSN avatar, PSP theme, dynamic PS3 theme, a documentary about designing the God of War series, and the game’s soundtrack.

Since the pre-order bundle is all digital content it will be available for anyone who reserves God of War: Ghost of Sparta at participating stores and PSPgo owners who buy it on PlayStation Network.

Sony also has a God of War: Ghost of Sparta bundle in the works which comes with the game, a code to download God of War: Chains of Olympus, a 2GB Memory Stick, Kick Ass on UMD, and a black/red two-toned PSP-3000 for $199.99.

For some weird reason I’m not too heavily anticipating this

That black and red PSP looks slick, reminds me of the Boktai GBA SP.

  • The PSPgo deal is not just for PSPgo owners but for anyone who purchases digital within the first week. If you don’t plan to pay $40 for the preorder, you always have this option. Also, the loads will be better on the digital version if there are any noticeable ones. Also you wont have to install if there’s an option for it.
