Today Must Be Square Enix Deals Day

imageAmazon slashed the price of Final Fantasy XIII down to $29.99 since its one of the game (PS3 and Xbox 360) is one their daily deals.

Final Fantasy XIII is one of three Square Enix titles on sale. Just Cause 2, which was also released in March, is just $36.99 and Supreme Commander 2 (the PC version) is only $19.99.

Unfortunately, Nier isn’t part of today’s sale.

  • Nier was part of last Thursday’s Amazon Deal of the Day. The PS3 version was $36.99.

I’m ticked about the FFXIII sale. I got it last week for $39.99 at GameStop. If I’d knew this was coming, I’d have waited XD

I got it last week at Best Buy for $19.99

        What??? Where do you live?

damnnn. that’s a great price. I’m still waiting on it to drop here in Canada. It’s still going for 59.99, which is too much for it. 30 or less, that’s all I’m willing to pay.

  • GOOD TIMING, just when i get this you lower the prices, greaaatt

  • $30 is a little expensive.I can get it for free… in my toilet. Every day, it’s there.*trollface.jpg*Seriously though, we all should have waited on FFXIII. A drop in price was inevitable. As for Nier, I DON’T regret paying MSRP. Who cares if Nier isn’t on sale, buy it now! That was a great game, really.

For all those cutscenes, I guess it was worth $30… screw it, it wasn’t. Nier was definitely worth every cent of the full price (though Amazon did have it for $56.99 w/ $10 credit before), it was one of the best day 1 purchase I’ve ever made. If I had read all the reviews first, I would not have imported FF13 on day 1.. seriously for Versus and 15, no more day 1.Still, all the games drop in price pretty quickly these days if you don’t mind waiting for a couple of months (except Nintendo titles), and so many great deals going on even for new releases in this tough economy. Kmart had FF13 for $29.99 and Peace Walker for $19.99 several weeks ago, should’ve waited for PW (it was $40 w/ $10 credit on Amazon) since I didn’t even like the Jpn import, I just had to be the collector.. I bet Kmart would have KH Birth by Sleep for $20 or something several weeks after release..
