imageNamco Bandai is remaking Dragon Ball Z Gaiden: The Plan to Destroy Saiyan and putting the footage in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2.

Back in 1993, Bandai made a Dragon Ball strategy RPG called Dragon Ball Z Gaiden: The Plan to Destroy Saiyans. An original video animation was also created in part with Shonen Jump. This arc is getting a full remake for Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2. Namco Bandai ordered 30 minutes of “revival animation” which will debut in the video game.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 comes out in Japan on November 11. The game is slated for a fall release in North America.

This is pretty much my only reason for purchasing this game. Raging Blast was okay but on it’s own, personally isn’t enough to fork out £40+ on it.

I mentioned it before but I can’t get into the game with that music. I would import like in the PS2 era but I don’t care about DBZ fighting games that much anymore.

wow, that’s actually pretty cool. I don’t think I’ve finished the Famicom game, I still have it in my drawer. I don’t like the new animation though, like the opening/ending/eyecatches of the re-edited Kai series, the newer Blue Dragon-esque style just looks too simple and weird compared to the older drawing. Also I prefer Burst Limit to Raging Blast.. I hope they put some effort into the new animation footage, unlike the horrible cutscenes in SF IV.

I saw this a couple years ago when I was getting into anime. My opinions is meh now because I’ve grown out of most typical shonen anime like this but w/e pretty neat for DBZ fans. A lot may have never watched it.
