Record Of Agarest War 2 Pulls An Idolm@ster

By Spencer . August 9, 2010 . 4:46pm

Compile Heart, keen on capturing the Idom@ster audience, made a Record of Agarest War 2 music video with Iva and Fiona.

So far, Compile Heart have not said anything about a singing game made for Record of Agarest War 2. The PlayStation 3 game has massage and bathhouse mini-games, though.

A hat tip and song to Matty for the tip!

im@s ,”and now the tales series”, is bamco’s pride in Japan. Sorry but I doubt this game will be released overseas. Retailers shall die in pain.

Could probably order the Xbox 360 disc version online, or DL the US PS3 version off PSN. Get an older English/EU PS3 disc version online as well, but from what I hear the translation isn’t as good as the newer one.

I’m waiting for the PS3/DL version to go on sell. Not paying $45 for it.

        I’ll wait then :D
I like the event scenes, but i suck in strategy games.

All you need to do is figure out the link system and make sure your bruisers (Borgnine really) are in the front to soak up the hits. After that you should be fine as you figure out the combination attacks and they’re a pretty extensive wiki online. Overall I found the game to be completely worth the $45 and its longer than FFXIII before you even reach the endgame.

I was like “WTF” when I first heard about this.

But then, I was like “WTF” when I first heard about the first one. Its overall premise.

    Hmm.

Hah hah hah hah! Compile Heart is truly a company that knows its target audience. ^_^

I will love Aksys if they publish Agarest 2.

It’s kind of funny how Compile Heart is promoting Record of Agarest War 2 in a way that will attract people who probably don’t even like SRPGs. Strangely enough, it’s similar to how Aksys was promoting the first RoAW here in the states by making it look like a borderline hentai game. Whatever gets the sales, I suppose?

    It certainly worked on me.

I was amused at how Aksys marketed the first one in NA as some hentai / ecchi game, and now it looks like Compile Heart has followed their example :o

Another import regardless, I love me my SRPG’s.
