Namco Bandai licensing a Square Enix game? Yep.

Square Enix doesn’t have an office in South Korea, so third parties, usually Sony Computer Entertainment, publish their games in the region. Since Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is a multiplatform game SCEK isn’t handling it. Namco Bandai is.

This isn’t the first time Namco Bandai grabbed the rights to a Square Enix franchise. In North America, Namco Networks, a subsidiary of Namco Bandai, released the mobile phone version of Final Fantasy.

    Oh god, here we go.

OH this is why these guys can’t release a F***ing tales game. We let get other company titles but we won’t let others localize ours.

I love them aswell but they don’t sell and cost to much to release.

Looks like Hraesvelgr was right on the money.

I don’t even need to read the Bamco articles to know what the comments in them are going to say.

      • Seriously. I considered posting “in b4 angry Tales fans” as a bad joke, but then thought “Naaah. People will realize Namco Bandai Korea has nothing to do with Tales games getting licensed for North American or European release.”

        …Silly me!

Namco Bandai Korea should totally localize the Tales games… in korean, because hey, that’s their market.

I wonder how people would react to that!

oh for a minute when I saw the title, I thought it was for Japan. But when I saw South Korea it made sense. I’m going to assume Square Enix will publish Kane & Lynch 2 in Japan.
