Xbox 360 Mascot Cosplay Spotted At ComiketInstead of using Master Chief, Microsoft created a character to promote the Xbox 360 in Japan. San Roku Maru (Japanese for 360) is part of the Xbox Mission Division, a group that wheels and deals with video game characters to bring them to the Xbox 360. The Mission Division stars in shorts like this one for the Idolm@ster 2.

 

And someone made a San Roku Maru costume just for Comiket 78.

    The costume is well done, but I must say this is the stupidest mascot I have seen in a while. A guy with a giant 360 guide button for a head…really Microsoft?

      I never liked mascots anyway, so I don’t think this one is especially worse than the others. Yes, the design is definitely a bit lacking though.
