Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Screens Show Four Tails Awakening Mode

By Spencer . August 16, 2010 . 3:26pm

imageCharge up Naruto’s chakra in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and you can transform into the Four Tails. In this form, Naruto can’t call support characters or use items, but he has the power, well some of the power, of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox at his disposal.

This transformation is Naruto’s awakening, a technique all characters in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 can use after losing a certain amount of health.

Namco Bandai also released more screenshots of crossover character Lars Alexandersson. He’s dressed in a costume designed by Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, and pulls out a gun just like his item move in Tekken 6.

Wow this news almost made my heart stop, though i wonder how the 4 tails state power compares to the other awakened forms of the other characters.

  • Might as well pick this one up.

I have zero interest in the Naruto franchise, and still… I feel compelled to buy this game, just for the amazing graphics and seemingly spectacular battles and all that. Oh well!

    • Try the demo if you’re still having doubts. The first Narutimate Storm was awesome, and Narutimate Storm 2’s demo blew me out of the water. Just a few more days until 25/8

      • [The Hunter] Doomrider

I have, and I liked it! Even such a “small” battle is made spectacular, Sakura destroying the ground, Naruto tapping into his Fox power, and Kakashi using his badass jutsu, really fun!

And I’m even more curious to try those large scale battles against major opponents, they must be sweet. The story mode seems pretty good too, with the exploration and all that… I’m in!

I hear ya. Naruto dosen’t interest me one bit yet I want this game, bad.

This game will be amazing, I can see it’s even attracting people who aren’t fans of Naruto. The graphics seem less edgy/blocky now so that’s good, there’s tons more stuff to come like the reveal of Naruto in his Six Tailed state.
