Shining Hearts’ Sakura Wars Style Conversation System

Similar to the Sakura Wars series, Shining Hearts has players pick conversation choices quickly using the Mind Over Emotion. A clock forces players to go with their gut instead of over-analyzing what to say. Characters will give Rick hearts after a conversation is over. The amount and color of hearts changes depending on his responses.

Sega announced Shining Hearts will be ready on December 2. Reserve the PSP game and you’ll get a Pirate Treasure Fan Disk as a bonus. Items on the CD include: a high resolution version of the opening movie, songs from the game, PC and PSP wallpaper, Shining Hearts character guide, and a design booklet.

MOE, is that on purpose…The third image in the mini gallery of sorts looks quite awesome. Pretty game

Exactly what I thought about “MOE”.

Yeah, that’s true, but “mind over emotion” doesn’t really make sense since the clock feature is trying to get you to no over-analyze and go with what your emotions tell you, so it should really be EOM, “emotions over mind”. But who cares about logic? definitely not this video game. :|

I think they know their target audience. Just a guess.

Woa the battles look NICE!!! ME WANT IT

I hope this gets localized! *_*

Fat chance. The dialogue system renders it “not a game” in their eyes, remember?

I didn’t care much when Shining Wind didn’t get localised, but THIS!!!

This is something that I think would be pretty nice to see localized. If they have changed the gameplay elements. Otherwise I´m 50/50.

Love T2 artwork, but the gameplay in Shining Tears was awful. If they changed that into something better and have all this nice eyecandy and this amount of choices then consider me hooked.

Same here, loved T2′s art (which in my opinion, does not apply too much moe factor, just enough to make the female characters beautiful and cute, well for the male characters, I could careless lol) And I’ll be honest though, I would get this game just for the artworks.
I do hope the gameplay improves

I love his style, too, although sometimes he has a bit of a same-face issue sometimes.

    “MOE system”?? OH GOD NO.

    • gatotsu911

Of course, the upside of this is that I can’t wait to see it skewered by Todd Ciolek.
