Final Fantasy XIV Open Beta Test Kicks Off At 7:00PM PSTSquare Enix fixed the critical bug and the Final Fantasy XIV open beta test is back on track. The gates to Eorzea open in just a few hours, 19:00 PST. When the clock strikes 7:00 PM registration codes will be available here.

 

This Final Fantasy XIV open beta is just for the PC version. Square Enix will e-mail users about a PlayStation 3 version at a later date.

    Might want to be careful, I just got a DOS/SSR.gen virus flag from one of the files (2D.DAT.tmp2) from the beta installer. It pops up on AVG as well as MS Security Essentials.

    Recommendation: Remove this software immediately.
