imageNot convinced a Cave shooter works on an iPhone or iPod touch? Then download Dodonpachi Resurrection Lite. This demo version gives players a taste of the slaughter/menace system and the hyper cannon for free.

Dodonpachi Resurrection Lite includes iPhone and arcade mode for the first level of the game. The lite version has its own set of leaderboards via OpenFeint.

Cave reports sales of Dodonpachi Resurrection have exceeded 30,000 units worldwide since its launch on August 26.

Aw, well that’s nice of them. Not sure if I’m be comfortable touching my way through bullet patterns, but whatever.
Also, stop making me want an iphone, dammit.

    • To be honest I rather prefer touching my way through bullet than using the control stick (or rather prefer arcade stick). Awesome game btw but not as good as the raiden series.

  • I’m positively certain that it doesn’t work on my iPhone, because it’s not an “iPhone” game… it’s an iPhone3GS/iPhone4 game.

It’s also an iPad and iPod Touch (3rd Gen and newer, except for the 8GB “3rd Gen” version which actually uses 2nd Gen hardware) game.

I don’t have an iPhone. I DO have an iPod Touch 16GB, and Espgaluda II and the promise of future Cave games was definitely a factor in my purchase.
