Another Dose Of Dodonpachi On The Xbox 360

By Spencer . September 7, 2010 . 8:38am

You may have played Dodonpachi Resurrection on an iPhone. On November 25, you can play it on a console. Dodonpachi Resurrection for Xbox 360 is based on the 1.5 build in arcades, has upgraded visuals, and the neat looking arrange mode B. Pick this and the game reacts to your style of play.

Dodonpachi Resurrection has another arrange mode, which Cave is keeping quiet for now. Reserve the Xbox 360 game and you’ll get a code to download Dodonpachi Resurrection 1.51. A limited edition will also be available with special package art and a CD with arrange tracks from Resonator for 9,240 yen ($111). A vanilla game goes for 7,140 yen ($85).

I don’t get why Cave can’t make an iPad version of Dononpachi if the 360 version has upgraded visuals.

    • Costlier and a smaller market than iPod touch + iPhone?

    • Perhaps the higher resolution graphics would be too much of a strain on the iPad’s current hardware. Despite having a much higher resolution, it still has the same amount of RAM (256 MB) and the same GPU as the 3GS.

So what is that; a 1000% price hike?

What funny music in the beginning, sounds like Goemon :) they better include that song on the OST. Will be getting the LE from Amiami, but the yen dollar exchange rate is crazy lately, $1 = ~83 yen, would make importing rather painful.. and where the heck’s Guwange?

Haha >w<; I thought the same thing when I heard that song, was able to find it here: DoDon Don~!

Thanks. Yea, pretty silly drunk party music, then it turned into this awesome pop song, very cool :) I’m obsessed w/ Scott Pilgrim now after reading the books, playing the game, and watching the movie, I thought they are all so cute and brilliant, I can’t get enough of them.. (Fairy goddess music in the movie, just awesome)BTW I thought this Scott x Matrix was hilarious, there’s an Avatar Airbender too, but this is gold :),

rar, I like it! It’s all kinds of catchy, all shmups should have a song which mostly consists of repeating the name of the game. But yeah I thought Bryan Lee O’Malley did an excellent job with the series >w<' I originally discovered it back when the second book had just come out, so it was pretty cool seeing it all, reach this point with a great game and movie take on it, never would have guessed back then! In particular I like how everything has it's own take on the ending.
