Mindjack Scrambled Until 2011

imageFollowing our suspicions, we contacted a Square Enix representative about a Mindjack delay. And, now the news is official. Mindjack has been pushed back from October 2010 to next year.


That gives Square Enix plenty of time to tell us more about the mind controlled monkeys and the feature that lets players alter the game’s universe.


Feelplus, the developers of Lost Odyssey and N3 II: Ninety-Nine Nights, are developing Mindjack for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

    The old release date would have been a disaster, considering the various high-profile games being released in the next couple months. Of course, if they release it somewhere in the first four or five months of next year, that will likely be bad for the game, as well.

    Hopefully they ditch the MP mode and focus on a solid SP mode.

    • I thought Square Enix was committed to a new focus of having some multiplayer aspect in all of their future games.

        That what they said, but not all games need MP. Hopefully Square-Enix realize that.
