By Spencer . September 9, 2010 . 10:21am

imageWhen Sony Computer Entertainment posted their PlayStation Plus schedule they also inadvertently pinned down release windows for Gaiaseed and Cho Aniki. Both of these Japanese PsOne games are getting a North American release care of MonkeyPaw games on or before September 21. That’s the day both games will be discounted for PlayStation Plus members.

Haven’t heard of these shooters before? Then take a look at these videos.

Looks like I may have to give in and get PS+ if these are coming in at a discount.

Gaia Seed is a pretty good game. I bought the Japanese PSN version and was pleased. Good for fans of stuff like Thunderforce V.

    PS1 Cho Aniki… eh… not so much.

Isn’t Cho Aniki that one weird sh’mup with obscenely muscular naked men? If so, then no thanks. I wish someone would bring LSD: Dream Emulator onto the PSN.

      They’re not naked!
      They’re wearing speedos.
This is a very critical difference.

The PSX Cho Aniki is too weird to pass up, I’ll probably get Gaia Seed too.

Keep those niche titles coming Monkey Paw.
