Phantasy Star Online 2 Coming To PC Next Year

Sega is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Phantasy Star Online by announcing Phantasy Star Online 2. The game is in development for PCs and slated for release in 2011.

Phantasy Star series producer Satoshi Sakai explained Phantasy Star Online 2 will go beyond using the same world and gameplay system. Sakai describes the game as a “completely new work” and a “true successor” to the series.

 

Unfortunately, no gameplay details were shared and we’ll have to wait until next year for more Phantasy Star Online 2 news.
