A couple of interesting trademarks registered to Square Enix popped up in the Japanese trademark database all for use with video games. We’ll start with Emperors Saga, which I suppose could be a new entry in the SaGa series.

The other two trademarks are quite unusual. There’s Ultimate Kiss and Soar! Maihane Senior High Theater Department. Square Enix has a lineup of Ultimate Hits games, their own Greatest hits label, in Japan, but Ultimate Kiss doesn’t sound like a spinoff of that unless they’re going to have Tifa kiss every package. Maybe an otome line? Hey, that could fit if Maihane Senior High was a Glee-like dating sim, but all of that sounds a little too crazy.
