Delay For Record Of Agarest War 2 Recorded

By Spencer . September 24, 2010 . 12:33pm

imageCompile Heart bumped Record of Agarest War 2 off its October 21 release date. A press release doesn’t give any specific reason why, just vague circumstances. Record of Agarest War 2 will ship sometime in November now.

Neptune, another Compile Heart title, had a similar short notice, short delay before being released in August.

Ghostlight and Aksys localized Record of Agarest War. Perhaps, one of them will pick up the sequel. Right now, we’re still waiting on the prequel, Record of Agarest War Zero, which was Compile Heart recently ported to Xbox 360.

  • Yeah I do hope we get another agarest war game in the us

  • DDanny

And I do hope this sequel isn’t 85% grinding, 10% story and 5% dating sim like the original.

    • :/ I hope you’re not referring to grinding outside the story stuff because I never had to grind outside endgame on hard mode. I didn’t purchase any of the DLC either.

    • moar story and moar scenes, less random battles, and the option to escape, and im happy

      • DDanny

        Yeah, pretty much this.
And ditch that Light/Neutral/Dark axis. I mean, why even bother when the heroes are locked into the path of goody-two-shoesness.

    • Exand

What grinding? Unless you were trying to get all the titles (and trophy / achievements) even on the hardest difficulty you didn’t have to grind in Record or Record Zero.

      • DDanny

I meant the gigantic number of forced random encounters you have to do in all generations. Remember all those lovely encounter dots on the map?

  • Exand

I’m ok with the delay, too many games out lately so it will give me time to clear the back log up :P

  • Looking forward to this as well as ZERO! I really need them just to complete the series.
