Before Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team launches in Japan on Thursday, Namco Bandai is giving North American Dragon Ball fans a taste of the game today.

A demo with six playable characters, Goku, Vegeta, Picollo, Krillin, Android 19, and Dr. Gero, will be available as a PlayStation Network download. Namco Bandai’s Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team demo has two stages to fight in plus a two-on-two mode where a computer controlled partner joins the fight.

The final game covers the entire Dragon Ball Z saga in Dragon Walker mode and highlights key fights in Battle 100 mode. Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team comes out in North America on October 19.

Although I like Raging Blast, I hated how they removed most of what was in prior games. Like how DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3 had so many different maps and characters in comparison to Raging Blast it’s not even funny. I’m sure that Tag Team isn’t going to have the Dragon History mode that Tenkaichi 3 had which it reenacted the battles extremely well and true to the series, so I hope it’s similar to Tenkaichi 2 where you fought pretty much every battle, though hopefully the storyline is detailed during these battles rather than just an opening response.I also hope that there are as many stages to fight in as there are in Tenkaichi 3 and that the stages can be destroyed like in Tenkaichi 3 also. If Namco pulls a Raging Blast and tries to push us into buying each new revision just to have the complete series in game then I can say I either won’t purchase this or I’ll skip buying it until it’s less than $20(which from the trailer that was released awhile ago looks to be the case.)I might not even get Raging Blast 2 for the same reason. It’s got ten more characters, all of which were in Tenkaichi 2 and 3 except one. Other than that I don’t like how shiny Raging Blast 2 is.

I see it now. Cool. God of War GOS and this. Nice week for PSN.

If you don’t see dbz on psn yet, try to search it on the Search Box.

    Thanks for this info.
