Go Grab The God Eater Burst Demo Right Now

imageNamco Bandai put a massive God Eater Burst demo online. How massive? The official God Eater blog says its basically the opening of the PSP game.

There are 29 missions to conquer plus story scenes to see in the God Eater Burst demo. Three advanced missions pit players and a computer controlled NPC against multiple Aragami. You can play the demo with friends over an ad-hoc connection, but the demo is not compatible with the retail game.

Data from the demo can be transferred into God Eater Burst. Players can either start the game over with the equipment you found or pick up from the point where the demo ends.

Grab the God Eater Burst demo and other Namco Bandai demos for PSP here. God Eater Burst comes out on October 27 in Japan and next year in North America.

I know it will be possible to Transfer God Eater data to Burst, but can I transfer my character to the Demo, too? If not… whatever. I’ll just restart.

On a completely different note: That link does not work, it links to the JPG, not the download. The right one is:

    • Thanks for the correction. The link is fixed now. I’m guessing you mean your God Eater character? You can’t transfer him/her into the demo.

You can import your God Eater data into Burst though.

Oh, okay… I’ll just restart then. I wasn’t that far in God Eater anyway (only played for 2-3 hours and then played other stuff). I’ll just play the trial version and import when my Append Disc arrives.

        It’s a great game though.

Those moon runes are pretty intimidating. Is it possible to download the demo through that site and transfer it to my psp? If so what do I click to start the download?

    • Yeah you can download the demo from the God Eater site directly. Go here:

Click on either of the orange buttons (they say 190MB in English).

Make sure the demo is in a folder called “NPJH90167” and you’re in!

    • Alternatively, there’s PSP Demo Center: http://www.pspdemocenter.com/page.php?id=3419

Either way, same demo, just hosted on a different site. It’s pretty easy to navigate the demo (via trial and error mostly). I can’t wait for the localized release.

  • Oh my god it’s so damn fluid compared to the first God Eater demo. I’m guessing because it’s a part of the final game. I am thoroughly enjoying replaying what I’ve already played from the first demo, if only because there’s more equipment to make.

rar, looking forward to starting this, it sounds like they are really out doing themselves for content in the demo, I like this approach >w<'
