Atlus Gives Catherine A Promotional Boost Over Twitter

By Spencer . October 5, 2010 . 11:35pm

cathWant a Catherine poster? Have a Twitter account? Then you can enter a contest for one of three B2 size (roughly 20" x 30") posters.

All you have to do is tweet a new Atlus game Catherine for PS3 & Xbox 360 will be released this winter in Japanese. The official rules are in this blog post. Three lucky tweeters, presumably in Japan, will win the Catherine poster on the right. Public Relations staffer Maehara admits that it may be a little embarrassing to hang on a wall, though.

Since Atlus is pushing Catherine maybe we’ll find out what the game’s exact release date is and how exactly the game plays. Catherine is slated for a release sometime in the winter of this year.

I kind of want one of these posters, but I’m not sure if I’d be able to put a 20″ by 30″ poster like that up and still have non-gaming company over…

  • Souji Tendou

    Where’s my Katherine poster?

  • This game intrigues me more.

  • Slashlen

I’d hang it up on my wall.

    I think…

    • corti

Probably do a little more than just “hang it up on your wall”

      • Sounds like you just gave someone out there an idea for making a Catherine body pillow, heh.

I really hope that Atlus will a)release Catherine in North America, and b)hold a similar contest for North American residents.

  • discoma

AtlusUSA should do something similar if/when they decide to release Catherine in North America.

    • Or they should just include a poster inside all of the Deluxe Limited Edition Catherine U.S. releases… when they announce it that is… :)

  • RAVENKam

‘Maehara admits that it may be a little embarrassing to hang on a wall’. Speak for yourself, the poster looks sweet.

    • FireCouch

      No, it’s embarrassing.

      • I don’t really see how this is any different from all those kids with posters of girls bending over the roof of a hotrod wearing cutoffs and barely anything for a top. There are plenty of things which could be qualified as, “embarrassing”, but you can thank society for that, treating a midriff in a cheerleading uniform as being, “too revealing”.

So yeah..I don’t think it’s really embarrassing at all. I’m assuming you’d also think it would be pretty embarrassing if you saw an artisan with a nude female statue in a room or something too. It’s just a little skin, calm down :P

  • “Public Relations staffer Maehara admits that it may be a little embarrassing to hang on a wall, though.” No kidding, lol!

    • keyboy7

keep in mind that the “embarrassment” meter is much different in japan, where some people feel the need to fill their houses with anime-like sex dolls :P

  • Guest

That guy’s afro is blocking the most important part of the poster

  • How come I fear that the game will be unreasonable short. Anyway, nice poster!

  • Am I the only one who would rather play this game privately on my PSP than on a big screen on PS3?
