Kenka Bancho 5 Strikes PSP

By Spencer . October 5, 2010 . 6:56pm

Kenka Bancho 5 Strikes PSPSpike is continuing the Kenka Bancho series with a new game for PSP. Famitsu has a scoop on Kenka Bancho 5: Way of an Honorable Man, which appears in the table of contents of this week’s issue.

Scans have not leaked onto the Internet yet. We are searching for them, though.

The last Kenka Bancho game, Kenka Bancho 4: The One Year War, was released on PSP this past February. Atlus brought over Kenka Bancho 3 as Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble, but haven’t said anything about picking up other games in the series.

I wonder how the game sold here. I thought the game seemed to have good ideas but the graphics looked a bit on the dated side.

Seems it didn’t do too well if not Atlus would have announced 4 by now.

If the one Atlus released was good then I might have been interested but it’s just bleh. I’ve played the first two Yakuza games prior and it’s like playing a game that’s slow motion in comparison. Add that it’s really not fun and it’s not a winning series to me.Black Panther Yakuza is going to own, though.

Are they that similar? I haven’t played a Yakuza game since 2. Kenka Bancho 3 gets straight into the brawling with a simple initiative, which I prefer.
I wouldn’t mind seeing this game or even 4 released, but it doesn’t seem likely at all right now.

Wish these were localized… I want to be the Ultimate Bancho! Fear my menchi eyes!

Yes. It’s the closest you can get to a GTO game. Unless Capcom plans to use the Yakuza engine…One can only wish.
