Deadly Premonition Director Working With 3DS Or PSP2?

image Hidetaka Suehiro from Access Games, better known as "SWERY" in the West, is just finishing up Lord of Arcana for Square Enix.

He’s also under a non disclosure agreement for at least one of the two upcoming handhelds, Nintendo 3DS or PSP2. Responding to a fan tweet asking which one he was more excited for SWERY wrote, "I can’t say about for that well. Because I have a NDA." Typically, developers have to sign an NDA when working with unreleased hardware to prevent information from leaking out.

SWERY is also keen on doing a Deadly Premonition sequel, "Yes, if I will have a chance," he replied to another fan asking about Deadly Premonition 2.

How about that U.S. version of Deadly Premonition for PS3 thanks…

Who is the non-disclosure agreement from? Square Enix? Let him work on his own games again!

The NDA would be from the handheld’s maker, either Nintendo or Sony.

        Nevermind, I read it wrong.

Though still, can’t he reveal anything about the game itself, as long as he doesn’t mention the hardware? I’m sure that’s not a problem. I’d like to know what he’s working on, at least.

  • Why would it be the 3DS…Anyway, Im guess the PSP2.

    • Tom_Phoenix

I am guessing PSP2 as well, but for an entirely different reason (for example, I don’t see why it couldn’t be on the 3DS). At this point in time, there really is no reason for Nintendo to keep third-party developers silent (unless it is for a reason we do not know), since the 3DS has been announced. So the only one who would require silence at this point in time is Sony, since they haven’t unveiled the PSP2 or the third-parties supporting it.
