Zenonia Gets Mini-zed For PlayStation 3 And PSP

imageGamevil’s homage to classic RPGs is coming to one, actually two, more platforms. Zenonia received the iPhone to PlayStation Minis port treatment and will be available on the PlayStation Store this week.

Zenonia stars Regret (seriously, that’s his name) who can be an assassin, paladin, or a warrior. It’s possible to be a hero assassin since player choices determine whether Regret will fight for good or evil. In case you missed it, we posted a trailer with our coverage of Zenonia’s DSiWare port just a few weeks ago.

Like all Minis, Zenonia is PlayStation 3 and PSP compatible.

Did anyone Regret getting this? =P

Tales of Abyss has a girl (Tears’ mentor) named Regret too. However, that’s only for the Japanese version. Her name was changed to Legretta for the English version. Pronunciation wise it still sounds the same in both versions. This is one case of localization where the name change actually works.

Whoa, I was about to post it but you post it ahead of me. Anyway, Regret in TotA is hawt, hawter than Tear imo. Too bad she’s on the bad guy side.Err… sorry for being OOT btw.

  • I wonder if EU PSN had this up already or not?

I couldn’t bring myself to like the first Zenonia iPhone iteration (everything about it screamed mediocrity) and have been put off anything subsequently related to the series.

  • I played the Android demo and it was pretty good. Worth buying if you have absolutly nothing else to play.

  • It’s an okay game, but it really feels lacking when you’re playing on a system that has, like, actual games. It’s fine for the iPhone but I got bored quickly when playing on DSi

    • After reading this, I’m not so sure I want to play the game anymore…

  • Zenonia needs a lot of polish from the DSiWare version. Lot of localization problems that took away from the overall thrill of the game, unfortunately, but a game that had a great amount of potential.
