To add some variety to the Phantasy Star Portable 2 story missions, Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity has a system that lets players make their own missions with difficulty levels that range from 1 to 30.
The Infinity System turns mission discs found in the game into parameters for custom missions. You can create levels with attributes such as "low monster HP", "high experience points", and "high drop rate". Up to five mission code parameters can be set for each Infinity Mission. There are 100 mission codes to collect so mission masters will have to decide if they want a world with weak monsters and high drops or an impossible challege. Once you set up the mission you’ll get a code for it and a label that marks the mission as yours.
Infinity Missions can be played in single player mode and shared online via infrastructure mode. Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity comes out on February 24, 2011.
