Sony Serving Up Hot Shots Shorties For PSP?

By Spencer . October 26, 2010 . 10:36am

Hot Shots Golf fans keep any eye out for Hot Shots Shorties. Sony Computer Entertainment America filed a trademark for Hot Shots Shorties in the US, but it probably isn’t for another sports game.

Last year, Clap Hanz developed Minna no Sukkiri, a mini-game collection with pie tossing, vegetable chopping, and book organizing. The Japanese version has twelve games including a top-down run ‘n gun game called The Great Georama Battle.

We’re guessing the Hot Shots Shorties trademark is the US name for Minna no Sukkiri. Since the title hasn’t been announced it isn’t clear if Sony is making new games for North America or just localizing the PSP game.

  • *First*YUS, Ive so been waiting for this game. I love the Hot Shots series!!!! (I still need to get Tennis, gonna treat myself to it for Thanksgiving, a holiday here in the United States in November where we give thanks for the founding of our glorious country and celebrate with doorbuster sales and turkey dinner delights).

Pangya: Fantasy Golf for the PSP outclasses Hot Shots Golf psp/ps3. Pangya psp is season 3 revision. Has all the high-end golf clubs from PC version (Soul Reaper Blades). Has great physics. INSANE difficulty (you have to birdie almost every hole in the late game to stand a chance at winning against AI). Fairytale story that is charming and interesting. Tournaments, CLOTHING, variety of special-shots and the icing on the cake- Papel Shop. Completely random item/clothing from day to day; you might stand a chance at winning.. Music composed by EstI. I have a 50 hour file on it and haven’t finished the story, all the tournament or even unlocked everything from the Papel Shop.

    • Wow they need to do a version for the PS3!

Pangya is awesome. It’s practically an RPG. I think there’s a PC version.

You are right!! But Ntreev is really hated now. Apparently they have become money hungry. They have a papel shop too (in some form or another) for the PC version. But you have to dish out money and even then, you are not guaranteed. I’ve seen comments where people have blown a hundred bucks and not won anything. Not even a good club set. Psp version has it all. And the humor is fun because the localization team did a wicked job!!

How shameless… At least the PSP version won’t seem that way.

More Hot Shots games are always a good thing.
