One Of Todd McFarlane’s Creations Comes To Life In Lord Of Arcana

image Spawn creator Todd McFarlane’s take on Nidhogg is in Lord of Arcana. The fearsome dragon is one of the game’s "angry" looking bosses shown in this trailer. McFarlane’s Nidhogg was also in Lord of Vermillion. That piece of art on the right is from the Japan-only arcade game.

Yoshitaka Amano did the artwork for Agni and Takemikazuchi is an illustration drawn by Tetsuya Nomura. Watch the trailer to see these and some of the armor you can customize your slayer with.

I saw Amano’s Agni and I don’t see how it resembled its in-game counterpart.

Yeah I mean you can clearly see that the art form Agni is on fire while in the game not so much.

Agni totally is supposed to be burning.

The feeling of weigth and resistance of the weapons in this game is horrible, it might be fun but in terms of being a MonHun-esque game it failed the part I liked the most about the fights in MonHun.

Why did those monsters in the article look uninspired and generic :( Meh. It’s subjective though. I must be getting the MH sickness and becoming biased to other monster designs. xD

the nidhogg design in SMT : DDS is better , it looks very creepy .

    • Exkaiser

Which design did they use for DDS? I’m personally really fond of the Devil Summoner robotic Nidhogg.
