Duo And Cinnamon Type Characters Coming To Mega Man Online

We’ve seen videos of X and Zero, but developer Neowiz plan to add more character types to Mega Man Online. Duo from Mega Man 8 is confirmed to be in the online game. He’s a powerful tank type character that uses his fists to attack.

 

 

Neowiz is also working on a Cinnamon type character. While her role was not outlined, Cinnamon acted as a healer in Mega Man X: Command Mission. In addition to those four, Neowiz hopes to create a few more characters. Mega Man Online is designed with cooperative play. You can meet players in a lobby and team up to explore stages.

 

Team manager James Kim explained there are four areas in Mega Man Online: Gaia (the one from gameplay videos), Atlas, Oceanus, and Nike. The game is played with a keyboard. Arrow keys make X move. Z is for attack, X is jump, and C is dash. You can hold down X to unleash a charge shot. Characters have items and skills which can be assigned to shortcut keys. One surprising move X has is a Capoeria style spin kick, which X can use to hit nearby enemies.

 

Players can customize five parts on their character: head, body, legs, weapon, and bag. When you level up you can equip better gear. Neowiz already received approval from Capcom for items up to level 50.
