Otomedius Excellent Rescheduled For Spring 2011

imageIt’s been awhile since Konami has said anything about Otomedius Excellent, an Xbox 360 sequel to Otomedius Gorgeous. The gals shooter slipped past its fall release date without a peep.

And, that’s probably because Otomedius Excellent is coming out in Japan sometime next spring. Konami announced the timeframe on the official site. New features include offline cooperative play (Gorgeous for whatever reason only had online co-op) plus characters like Kokoro Belmont.

At E3, Konami announced Otomedius Excellent for North America. Back in July, we asked Konami for more details about it. A representative explained Otomedius Excellent is being built from the ground up and the game will not cost $60 in the States… whenever it gets released.

what the hell please release this on the PS3 if you can Konami, we need more Shumps.

it’s good that Mamorukun is coming for the PS3 os there’s no reason this game won’t. it kinda reminds me of Bizarre 5 Jelly from No More Heroes which is awesome:)

Doubt a disc based SHUMP will ever be on the PS3. Besides the waste of space on BR, MS likely has it locked up as an exclusive.

who says we need to to have disc base? im all for PSN not to mention MS never made this Exclusive so there’s a chance of this coming.

it’s only a matter of time when developers follow suit ^^

This is being released in North America? Nice!

  • Remember seeing this at E3 and ever since the info has been scarce. Nice to see more on it.

  • Here’s hoping it’s 1000x better than the first game… as that was far from good.
