Cave is bringing Dodonpachi Resurrection Black Label to stores. This arcade update adds the red system, which ups the difficulty when you hold the laser and shot buttons simultaneously. Firing both weapons at the same time is another change in Black Label. Dodonpachi Resurrection Black Label also switches the music and rotation for the game’s true final boss. On Xbox 360, players also have the option of turning auto-bomb on or off. Need to practice? Dodonpachi Resurrection Black Label has a novice mode too.

The biggest addition is arrange mode and its familiar ship from Ketsui. Pick this mode and you’ll use Ketsui’s scoring system in Dodonpachi Resurrection Black Label too.

Dodonpachi Resurrection Black Label is slated for February 3, 2011 for 5,040 yen ($60). Owners of Dodonpachi Resurrection Ver. 1.5 buy Black Label as downloadable content. However, the 1,200 Microsoft Point ($15) pack does not include the Ketsui arrange mode, its only in the retail package.
