Metal Slug X Rolling Onto PSN Too

By Spencer . November 28, 2010 . 9:33am

imageMetal Slug X, a remix of Metal Slug 2, is also on deck for a PlayStation Network re-release. The ESRB leaked this bit of information by rating the game for PS3 and PSP.

We’re confident this is the PsOne version since Sony Computer Entertainment America is listed as the publisher, not SNK Playmore who have their own list of still unreleased NeoGeo games for PS3 and PSP.

Metal Slug X is also part of Metal Slug Anthology, a fantastic collection for fans of SNK’s run ‘n gun series, but that version is missing combat school missions where you can chat up the instructor just like Metal Slug 7 or XX.

If I didn’t have the Anthology already, I’d get this.

I’d pick this up if I didn’t own the PSX version plus Anthology. Combat school is fun, as-is chatting up the instructor haha

STILL WAITING ON MY 360 VERSION, SNKP!

I hope these PSN releases are a hint of things to come. Metal Slug isn’t really my thing, but Front Mission 3, oh I shall be picking that up! :D
