Magical Drop III & Fighter’s History Dynamite Detonating On Wii

By Spencer . December 6, 2010 . 1:38am

imageEurope just got Fighter’s History Dynamite on Virtual Console under the name Karnov’s Revenge. Looks Data East’s fighting game is coming to North America too.

The ESRB rated the game and lists D4 Enterprise, distributor of downloadable NeoGeo roms, as the publisher. Magical Drop III is also in their database, which warns parents about excessive jiggling.

This is a puzzle game in which players align multicolored orbs into matching groups of three. Each puzzle board contains characters in the background that cheer players on as they complete successful combos. Some female characters are dressed in revealing outfits (e.g., leather outfits with whips, tube tops, draped cloth) that expose portions of their buttocks or cleavage. When players score points or make successful combos, the background figures cheer or move in ways that cause their breasts to jiggle.

Since D4 Enterprise is marked as the publisher for Magical Drop III too expect to get the NeoGeo version on Virtual Console.

Perhaps you just mean Virtual Console release? Because all of those games except Rage of the Dragons DID get console releases. And 5 of the 8 got North American release on at least one system.

Garou: Mark of the wolves – DC, PS2 (Japan only), XBLA
      Matrimelee – PS2 (Japan only)
Rage of the Dragons – Neo only
      King of fighters 2003 – PS2, Xbox
The last blade 2 – DC, PS2 (Japan only)
Waku Waku 7 – Saturn (Japan only), PS2 (Japan only)
Samurai Shodown 4 – Saturn (Japan only), PS2, Wii, PSP
Samurai Shodown 5 – SS5 on Xbox, PS2, Wii, PSP

  • Wow, a double header. Both of those are really good games. Everyone in the niche knows MD3 but few give Karnov’s Revenge credit.

If I -had- a Wii, I’d probably pick both up.

Ah… Magical Drop, how I love thee. The earliest puzzle game which engrossed me dearly and which I became incredibly skilled at.

    I welcome your arrival, that I do. Day 1! If I had a Wii… I need a Wii!
