Star Driver Rides To PSP In March

imageWith an original story to tell, Star Driver: Takuto’s Radiance Legend of the Most Handsome Boy in the Galaxy makes you the main character of the game.

Namco Bandai’s upcoming PSP game is a communication adventure where players explore Southern Cross Island. You get to interact with characters from the anime  and choose how the story progresses. The scenario is designed with alternate storylines that can deviate from the series. Events in Star Driver are fully voiced.

Close contact mode blows up characters so they take up the entire PSP screen and you have to hold it vertically. You can interact with characters, even kiss them, by moving the analog stick in position. Giant robot battles use a command system in Star Driver.

When we first heard about the game, Namco Bandai said it was coming in the spring. Star Driver: Takuto’s Radiance Legend of the Most Handsome Boy in the Galaxy will be in stores a little before then. It’s slated for March 3 in Japan.

  • “Star Driver: Takuto’s Radiance Legend of the Most Handsome Boy in the Galaxy” Man why do the Japanese get the best sounding titles. Games developed in the west get plain sounding titles most of the time :(

    • lol, you’re right in the west you get games with titles like “RAGE” (no reflection on the title’s quality btw), which is pretty unimaginative and no frills.

Here a list of worst titled video games ever:

Actually Star Driver sounds interesting from a gameplay point of view.

Sounds like a Mario Cart spin off.

    • Barrit

I know, and they also get games with a bunch of “!!!”s in the title that just get you excited.

  • FHOIW

Makes me wanna go back and watch Star Driver. Lol.

  • Giant robot battles make this automatic win!

    • tubers

Yes automatic win with “communication adventure” as a gameplay xD

      Kidding xD

“Giant robot battles use a command system in Star Driver.” Barely any reflex required? What’s this like anyway?
